 The ICBM is located at Oldenburg (headquarter) and at Wilhelmshaven.

 

The courses and practical work are held in Wilhelmshaven, where also the guest house is located.

The course will start on Monday, August 22, at 10:00 a.m. in Oldenburg.

Travel information

To ICBM Oldenburg

From the Oldenburg train station the city bus no. 306 (University) will take you to the Carl-von-Ossietzky University. Busses depart from both the north side (ZOB) and the south side (Hauptbahnhof-Süd-A) of the train station. Departure time from ZOB-A is every 15 min between 7:39 and 18:24. The bus ride takes 14 min. Stay on the bus to the final bus stop (University Campus WECHLOY, Carl-v.-Ossietzky-Str.), don't get off too early at Campus Haarentor (Uhlhornsweg)!

From Oldenburg to Wilhelmshaven

Due to ongoing construction work in August the train connections from Oldenburg to Wilhelmshaven is interrupted. Instead, there will a direct bus from Oldenburg to Wilhelmshaven. In Oldenburg, the busses depart from the central bus station (ZOB), located directly next to the train station (northern exit). Busses are marked with a RED sign (Direktbus, SEV). Busses depart from Oldenburg between 8:16 until 20:16 (every hour), and at 21:06 and 22:16. The bus ride takes 1 hour.

There are additional bus connections (YELLOW, "Ersatzbus", with several stops) which take 1 h 16 min. They depart from ZOB every hour between 7:36 and 23:36.

From Wilhelmshaven Train Station to ICBM-Terramare

Due to construction works the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke ist closed (also for pedestrians!). The only public bus that connects the train station with ICBM-Terramare is LINE 8. Go the the final stop at Südstrand, the ICBM is few steps away. 

The bus stop is located at the ZOB (central bus station), main exit of the Nordseepassage (i.e. the shopping mall at the station). Busses departs daily every two hours between 8:35 and 18:35, and 19:20. You get the tickets for 1,90€ at the driver (4 tickets for 6,20€).
